who are we?

At Nationaal Ouderenfonds, we dedicate ourselves every day to all senior citizens in the Netherlands. Our spearheads are: active aging, inspiring a senior-friendly environment, and combating loneliness. We do this with sports and exercise programs such as OldStars and De Derde Helft, but also with initiatives such as the Knitting Club, Grocery PlusBus and our digital skills program for seniors: Welkom Online. The National Trust for Aging also offers plenty of individual attention, for example in the form of outings, concerts and Christmas gifts. This way everyone gets a chance to age in an active way. Because we grow together!

The National Trust for Aging will celebrate its 70th birthday in 2023. Our activities are sorely needed to prevent loneliness among older people every day. We do this with nearly 30 passionate colleagues and nearly 6,000 volunteers.

what are you going to do

As a fundraising/commercial relations manager, you know how to network with the right people in companies and organisations. You enter into partnerships by connecting people and keeping them connected. You write creative plans and proposals to get companies excited about the goals of the National Trust for Aging. You are the connecting link in and out of the organization ensuring expectations are managed with all stakeholders. You set agreements and also oversee and monitor further detailing and dealing internally.

You create attractive offers for companies and know how to close deals with a signed agreement.

Your tasks in a nutshell:

  • You are an ambassador for the National Trust for Aging and are seen as such in the market.
  • You are proactive in entering new partnerships with business relationships and other parties of interest.
  • You are a relationship builder and proactively contribute to the Senior Trust reputation
  • You write proposals that align with the desires/ideas of the working relationship and the goals of the National Trust for Aging and concrete these in a way that is appropriate for each relationship
  • You monitor the progress of projects in relation to the expectations of the relationships and make adjustments when necessary

which we are looking for

Driven professional to establish and maintain new business relationships. You are good at building new relationships, but also at maintaining relationships. You think about possibilities and act proactively. She loves to go out and visit companies. You have many creative ideas and at the same time you are working with a clear goal in your mind.

You also recognize yourself in the following:

  • Completed education at HBO level as a minimum;
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a commercial position, preferably in fundraising;
  • You are proactive and have the ability to self-start
  • Creative, knows how to motivate others and is goal oriented

  • Salary (scale 8 to 10 from CAO Welfare & Social Services €2,836 and a maximum of €4,927 gross per month for full-time work, depending on experience and education)
