Fashion brand Balenciaga removes photos of girls with ‘bondage bears’ after baked criticism | Watch

Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga has come under fire for its latest ad campaign. The images, which appeared on the brand’s website and social media but have since been removed, show children in bondage clothing. Plus, there are shocking details hidden in the photos.

The images of the minor children were part of a larger group of images that have appeared on the brand’s Instagram page since November 16. One of the photos shows a little girl wearing a T-shirt from the brand, holding a belt attached to a white stuffed bear with what is known as a lock necklace chain. In another, a girl holds a purple stuffed animal that appears to be wearing a bdsm outfit.

Many people criticize the fashion brand on Twitter. “Scary how many adults must be involved,” one person wrote. parents and photographers, creative directors, copywriters, employees of modeling agencies, producers, managers, advertisers … and none of them thought: wait a minute? It goes on. Another person tweeted: “Typical Balenciaga. They want shock to draw attention to their exaggerated indiscretions. It almost feels like a social experiment.”

Not only the girls’ photos cause amazement. Other photos have emerged to hide shocking details. At the bottom of the site was a picture of “Hourglass bag, with a pile of papers underneath. One such paper was a court document referring to the Ashcroft vs Free Speech Coalition, the lawsuit that made virtual/fake child sexual abuse images and videos legal in the United States.

The Free A Girl Netherlands Foundation was shocked by the campaign and called on De Bijenkorf, the department store that sells items from the brand in the Netherlands, to boycott Balenciaga in the comments. Free A Girl’s statement reads: “The Balenciaga brand contributes billions of dollars to the sexual glorification of young children.” this is not ‘Who did‘-pr. This is shocking and disturbing. This is criminal.

After all the criticism, Balenciaga released a statement on Instagram today: “We sincerely apologize for any offense our holiday campaign may have caused. Ours.”Plush bear bagsIt should not have been served with children in this campaign. We immediately removed the campaign from all platforms.” The images have since been removed and further content from the brand can no longer be commented on.
