District – During Children’s Book Week (October 5-16), the Waterland Library organizes various activities for children from 6 to 12 years old in all its branches. This year’s Children’s Book Week is all about nature, with the theme of Gi-Ga-Green!
There are many children’s books that help you discover and understand nature. During Children’s Book Week 2022, children will go on an adventure to see the beauty of nature and discover what you can do to help nature.

Whether you like green or not. Giga Green Children’s Book Week!? Grab a free tasty snack of Giga Green at your library location during the festive opening. We start children’s book week beautifully and green!

Get a bingo card, go outside for dock plants and find them all. Grab a DIY book or go on an adventurous treasure hunt. Put on your detective and find all the nature records in the library.

During Children’s Book Week, the book is read aloud “I would like a child” by Dorothy de Monfred. Louis and Annelies make the musical contribution with singing, dancing and musical instruments.

Your wonderful tree house
