South Holland has been a strong tame province for years and it has been proven again this year. Seven mares were invited to NMK led by Oresia ASD (by All At One), bred by Ad Schellekens and owned by Martin Peter Overfleet, Rebecca Dudley and Stahl Leeuwenhoek.

“Today’s hero has a real blood look. Yesterday she didn’t need any speed to be able to trot well and she showed it again today. She always moves up and with a lot of looseness.” This Oresia ASD is an almost black daughter of All at One and a graduate of Persian favorite star Ciresia (s Sandreo). In the Dam line, in addition to several international sport horses and custom stallions, we also came across a KWPN-certified Grand Prix and Olympic stallion Glock’s Dream Boy. Oresia ASD was bred by A. Schellekens of Sprang-Capelle. She is registered with Martin Peter Overfleet of Leiden. He has with his wife Rebecca Dudley and Stahl Leeuwenhoek.

Ophira Worth

Number two was described by the jury as: “A horse with a lot of oomph, built to the top with an amazing forefoot and a beautiful upper line. Today she could have let herself go a little more.” This Ofira Waard comes from a well-known tribe and its founder is Luuk van Rijn from Nieuwland. Glock’s daughter Flavio has Wintana Waard (Elite, Prest by Jazz) as a dam. She is also Dam National Foal Inspection champ Gregwaard, who has competed on the Heavy Tour and is now successful with Mickey Schelstraete, as well as Karsten Ward, who competes internationally in Intermediair I. The full brother of Wintana Waard, Zegerwaard or Junimond has been launched in the Grand Prix. Ofira Waard’s championship title was a nice parting gift, as Luuk van Rijn said goodbye to the South Holland board of directors after nineteen years.

Una Ivy

Third place Ona Ivy is the daughter of Olympic horse Total US and born of Ivy (Elite Ibop (dres), prok, D-OC v. Ampère). The jury said: “A complete and attractive mare with a thoroughbred appearance. With a nice front leg especially in the trot and in the canter very light and uphill.”

Fourth place went to Ohana of Forest Jazz. Sophisticated quilted long chestnut. She was jogging with a lot of technique, but should have shown a little slack walking today to get a higher rating. The Mustang comes by f/g PC van Selow from Monster from Cifeera-Altena (s.Valdez). In the embankment line we come across international dressage horses, but also an international event and jumping horse.

In fifth place was Olly-Esther who was raised in the Van Nobelen stable. The generously developed daughter of the Blue Hors Zack has a nice ascending physique. On the trot, I climbed really well and showed a lot of balance. To gain a higher position, she should have taken a step a bit more today. She is registered with Lewis and Gabrielle Rust of Het Harbush Stables in Straw and with Tim Coomans of Odd-Baigerland.

Ostara Reina VDJ

Sixth-ranked Ostara Reina VDJ was also allowed to walk a little wider today, but was praised by the jury as: “A very attractive model with beautiful butts and shoulders. She moved very lightly and with a lot of flexibility.” Ostara Reina VDJ is the In Style daughter born to star Marie Cireina (by UB40). Breeder Pete van der Jagt of Zuid Bägerland had already named the three-year-old jumpers champion earlier that day.

Today’s Oriflame performed well for seventh place and an NMK invite. Blue Hors Kingston’s daughter is out from sports star Hippo Flame (by Lord Loxley), who has successfully participated in the Small Tour. The beautifully designed Oriflame stands out in both trotting and trotting due to its strong use of the back leg and powerful impulse of movement. She could have been more relaxed about that day. The Bayhorse was bred at Hamerpagt stable in Nieuwland with the registered name: E. Kossowicz in California.

MSJ Vesina SVN-T Best Oldest Mare

The highest score, 85 in the four- to seven-year-old pony book mares, went to MSJ Vesina SVN-T. Daughter of Vitalis out of Best of All (S Bordeaux). According to the jury: “A mare with an unusual appearance. The shoulders and shoulders are good and the contacts are nice in the body. In the movement, she showed an energetic stride. She showed a lot of expression on the trot and was able to change gears very easily. Also in Canter, she shifted without any problems and then moved more From it with gravity. She easily changed in both directions. In fact, in her performance, every step reached the goal!”
