Job title

As the University of Victoria, we give substance to our own identity and core missions of teaching, research and valorisation, which match the unique characteristics of Victoria University, such as our diverse student body, our social orientation, strong interdisciplinary research and the campus at the heart of Zuidas. As a Relationship Manager, you can develop new collaborative relationships with companies in Zuidas and other social organizations with the goal of contributing to impactful education, research and valuation. You set up and organize infrastructure, set budget, develop a business model, and communicate with various private and public parties to contribute ideas about program content and look for opportunities to bind these parties to us in the long-term. You mainly focus on collaborating and connecting relevant partners to VU. You know exactly when to update partners within VU (IXA-GO, Administration, Entrepreneurship and Influence) and our Executive Board on the latest developments. You have a large and relevant business network that you are happy to use.

You work in a team with other relationship managers, relationship managers and relationship managers, responsible within DURF for the relationship management system, prospect research and fundraising.

What will you do?

  • You guarantee a sustainable and long-term relationship with these VU . partners
  • It deals with private and public organizations with the aim of entering into new collaborations with VU, focusing on entrepreneurship, LLO, and other proposals not yet developed.
  • You can identify the (new) organizations in collaboration with the potential researcher and decide the best way to deal with them
  • It translates developments and trends into proposals and proposals for partnerships between VU and organizations
  • You monitor the progress of your results against the set goals and adjust them as necessary
  • You are interested in relationships, you can open doors and connect the outside world with VU
  • You represent the organization at related activities and meetings

  • You have an academic career and a level of thinking
  • Have at least five to ten years of relevant work experience
  • You have a good sense of (management) relationships
  • You have demonstrable knowledge and experience in program management in the private and/or public sector
  • You are a strong and optimistic communicator who combines good counseling skills and a practical approach
  • You can work independently and based on the project
  • Being honest and discreet in your actions and actions (organizationally sensitive)

What do we offer?

Difficult position in a socially concerned organisation. Depending on education and experience on a full-time basis, the salary is at least 4,629 euros.and a maximum of €5,943 (12 scale) per month. The job is categorized according to the UFO profile: External Collaboration Coordinator 3 and is open to 0.8 feet.

The employment contract is initially concluded for a period of one year. If it is positive, the employment is transferred to a contract of indefinite duration.

Within DURF, the Alumni Relationships, Social Profiling, Corporate Partnerships, Fundraising, Relationship Management, Communications and Relationship Management teams work closely together to build and maintain relationships with VU. We do this through networking, campaigns, events and thematic collaboration programmes.

DURF is also responsible for managing external relations data. Our wide range of activities and programs are aimed at external relations from different backgrounds who, based on their experience and expertise, wish to participate in VU and contribute to the growth and prosperity of the VU community. DURF has a total of 22 employees (19 FTE).
